This is a selection of contemporary Ukrainian animated short films for children. The program takes young audiences on adventures through magical and captivating worlds, exploring themes of friendship, mutual support, Ukrainian traditions, and a deep connection with nature.

    The story is about molfar-hippie Ivonika who protects nature from evil powers, bad weather and diseases and how he has won the fight with evil cloudy forces. Thanks to his friends, he regained his strength after a hard fight.

    After researching the traditions of the molfars who live in Carpathians, Yana Irodenko came up with the story and an original character called Ivonika. While designing the main character, she combined Hutsul folk clothes with modern elements (glasses, braided beard, headband with ornaments), endowing him with supernatural abilities and a great love for all living things.

    Yana created storyboard, illustrations and animations. She added sounds of nature and music performed by National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine.

With a clever and unexpected distraction from his trusty sidekick "Friend Blanket", Amir seizes the moment and fires a powerful shot from his blaster. BOOM! The spectacular explosion doesn't destroy the monster, it shrinks him! The once-giant Sirenhead is reduced to the size of a one-liter glass jar. Amir easily traps the tiny villain inside, rescuing his brothers and proving to the world that true heroes come in all sizes.
